Mobile Applications

ROK is busy creating new mobile ArcGIS apps for Smart phones!  We have been hard at work building powerful, Android based, mobile applications based on our popular Tax Maps application.  These apps give users quick access to pertinent property information while on the go.  Looking for a GIS centric Android app?  Give us a shout.

Updated August 4th, 2011.  We made some changes to the application, so check out version 2.

For now, check out this Demo application for Android - ROK Mobile. Since you aren't installing this via the Android Market, there are a couple of things you'll need to do to install the ROK Mobile app. Before you click DOWNLOAD below, please read these instructions:
  1. This application requires Adobe Air and Android 2.2.  Don't worry, most folks are running Android 2.2 and if you don't have Adobe Air installed, you'll be prompted to download and install it.  You'll need to set your device to allow installs from 'Unknown Sources':
    • -Open your device 'Settings' and click 'Applications'
    • -If unchecked, click 'Unknown sources'.  If its already checked, you are all set.
    • -Click 'Ok' on the 'Attention' dialog.  The 'Unknown Sources' should now be checked.
  2. -And lastly, click download from your mobile browser
